When “Sandstorm” hits at South Carolina, the crowd knows exactly what to do. CrowdFlare Pro brought the arena into the tradition, with 500 railing lights illuminating the lower bowl as the music hit and fans got on their feet. The synchronized effects added another visual layer to one of the most recognizable game-day traditions in college sports.
The lights became part of the Gamecocks’ production beyond Sandstorm, activating during pregame hype, player introductions, big scoring moments and other key points throughout the game. With CrowdFlare Pro in place from January through March, South Carolina could build the system into its game presentation across the final stretch of a 36–4 season.
